Weekly RUNdown…one day late

Monday – 37 minute run, foam roll, abs

Tuesday – 31 minute run, foam roll, abs

Wednesday – I was going to take this off but it was an absolutely gorgeous day, so I had to head out for a bike ride to the water.  About 14 miles in 55 minutes, I tried not to push it but just enjoy it. 

Thursday – one final run in the afternoon 21 minutes, then abs and stretching

Friday – hot bikram yoga class.  I needed to move, and figured this would be good stretching pre-race.  It was fine, but too much lying down between poses really broke up the flow for me.  Good to sweat though :)

Saturday – walked around the expo

Sunday – HALF MARATHON

* note all my runs this week were done by time.  They were shorter, and I didn’t want to pressure myself by knowing the distance/going out too fast, but just wanted to go by feel and get a few last runs in.  It worked
